Following are the key points of our terms of service, which you are asked to please review.

 

The full text of our terms of service may be found within our click-through Agreement, which we ask that you please review, and if acceptable, please approve.

 

• Appointments. ​

  • Confirmed When Paid. Appointments are confirmed when either the 50% minimum deposit is paid, or services are paid in advance in full.

  • Unpaid Appointments Held for 1 Hour. Unpaid appointments are held for 1 hour, or at the time that a deposit or payment in full is made.

 

• Reimbursement for Direct Costs.

  • ​Any extra charges incurred (if you need an extra stamp, parking fees when required, road and ferry tolls, etc.) will be due directly after service is completed. Any credits due to you will be refunded to you the same day.

 

• Refunds. ​

  • A 50% refund will be issued for appointments canceled 24 hours or more prior to the scheduled appointment.

  • A 100% refund will be issued for appointments canceled 48 hours or more before the scheduled appointment.

  • No refund is issued in the following circumstances:

    • Not of Legal Capacity. If one or more of the parties who are signatories of the document to be notarized is/are not of legal capacity to execute a document. 

    • No ID. If one or more of the parties who are signatories of the document to be notarized does/do not have state required identification.

    • Short-notice Cancellation/Reschedule. If an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.

    • Post-Reschedule Refunds. No refunds are issued after an appointment has been rescheduled.

            

• Wait time. Wait time, defined as time which is incurred as a result of delays prior to or during notarization, is billed at $20 per quarter hour, or $80 per hour.

• All quoted rates reflect a discount of 30% for payment in advance, with the balance due at the time services are performed.

  • Any amount due and uncollected at the time services are performed are billed 30% higher than standard rates, all prior courtesy credits will be billed in full plus 30%, in addition to all costs of collection including our staff time at $80/hr billed in .25/hr increments and attorney’s fees.
